Wednesday Corey and another volunteer began working on the woodwork for the fruit tree beds. One of the beds had been done previously and they finished another one Wednesday, so that left one to finish. I started working on it because I’m so excited to begin the process of getting the beds ready for planting. We were only able to put a couple of the structures together because the power drills started to lose power and we needed more time to charge them. So hopefully by the end of next week we will have the woodwork finished for the beds. J I also fertilized some of the kale and spinach with fish emulsion added to the water and it is not the most pleasant smell. It was actually pretty gross to me. Tim Hartman talked with Corey and me and said that the list I had given him was a very good selection for our area. He listed a few places that would have the trees, but I think I’ll give them a call on Monday or Tuesday.
