The Howdy Farm relies on the good will and support of people like you!
The Howdy Farm would not be able to continue growing without the kindness, generosity, and support of the many people in the community who contribute to our cause. Monetary donations are always welcome, or check out our wish list below for things that the farm is regularly in need of. No donation is too small; we greatly appreciate anything you are willing to give.
Thank you for helping us grow!

2012 Aggie Green Fund Grant – $96,000 - Sustainability Demonstration & Education Facility.
The Sustainable Agriculture Student Association and the Howdy Farm envision an educational organic agriculture facility utilizing solar and rainwater technologies to be constructed on west campus near the Howdy Farm’s organic production site. This structure would ensure year-round greenhouse production capability and adequate learning space. The facility will educate TAMU students about sustainable greenhouse production by hosting classes and using the space for research, class projects, and independent graduate and undergraduate research on sustainable crop production. Read the application here.
2011 Aggie Green Fund Grant – $50,000 - The project will establish a certified organic parcel of land for food production, education and research; create a closed system of food production, reducing the campus’ waste stream and providing a source of fresh nutrient‐dense food; provide educational opportunities for Texas A&M students in sustainable agriculture through courses, student organizations, and educational outreach; and provide Texas AgriLife Extension and Research Services access to certified organic land for research and community education. Read the application here.
What is the Aggie Green Fund? The Aggie Green Fund is a student initiated and student controlled fund that awards $300,000 per year to empower students & faculty to take action and bring about novel and creative sustainability initiatives to the Texas A&M University campus.
