Today was a very exciting day because the order for soil came in! That meant today was the day for filling in our limestone raised beds!
The soil that was bought was a mixture of 40% compost, 40% topsoil, and 20% humus. Michael put it all in a bottle with water and shook it up to show us how the mixture was dispersed. After the soil settle in the bottle, you could see the different layers from the mixture and it was crazy how even it was!
Everyone was helping out (like they always do) and the work got done very quickly!
Here is a picture with the soil filled in. I think the area already look so much better! I cannot wait to put the plants in!!
